This year's Bayer Young Viticulturist Central Otago Regional Competition is being held on Friday 22nd July.
This annual competition started in 2006 and has helped build a team of talented young professionals who have continued pushing the boundaries in the vineyard, ensuring the reputation for high quality NZ wines continues long into the future.
Bayer Young Viticulturist Central Otago Education Day - Thursday 16 June
Next Thursday, 16th June we'll be holding an Education day for anyone interested in participating in this year's Central Otago regional competition.
Date: Thursday, 16th June
Time: 4pm (time to be confirmed)
Venue: Lake Dunstan Yacht Club, McNulty Inlet, Cromwell
Details are still being finalised for the Education day but essentially the session will provide this year's contestants with a great overview of the competition and a few hints about this year's question topics - so pop this date in your diaries and we'll be touch with further details.
Bayer Young Viticulturist Central Otago Regional Competition - Friday 22 July
This year's Bayer Young Viticulturist Central Otago Regional Competition will be held on Friday 22 July at the Otago Polytech Bannockburn Road Campus.
If any of your staff are 30 years or under as at 31 December 2016, currently working full-time in the wine industry and are a NZ citizen or hold NZ residency please encourage them to give it a go and get their entries in!
Details for this year’s Bayer Young Viticulturist Central Otago Regional Competition:
Date: Friday 22 July
Time: 8am - 3pm at the Otago Polytechnic Bannockburn Road Campus followed by the evening part of the competition which will be held at the Golden Gate Lodge, Cromwell starting at 5.30pm.
Venue: Otago Polytech Bannockburn Road Campus and The Golden Gate Lodge, Cromwell
