The Central Otago Winegrowers’ Association (COWA) is a collaborative association established to represent the grape growers and winemakers of Central Otago. Central Otago Pinot Noir Ltd (COPNL) is the regional promotional body of COWA.
COWA wishes to appoint a part-time General Manager who will be instrumental in the implementation of the strategic direction of the organisation as set by the Board for the benefit of all stakeholders.
This is a high profile, hands on role, providing support to and working with 120 plus Central Otago winegrowers and producers.
The successful candidate will have:
- Sound knowledge of the wine industry
- Proven experience in marketing and management
- Ability to develop relationships with all stakeholders including NZ Winegrowers, COWA, COPNL, local government, media, suppliers, and the local community
COWA and COPNL have developed an enviable reputation in the wine world and this provides an opportunity for the right person to take the region to another level.
